I need to access my camera remotely. P2P access with the IOS app works fine. I also was able to set up IP access using port forwarding on my router so that I can use the Chrome App on my desktop machine (a mac). The problem is that my ISP doesn't give me a fixed IP and my router does not support dynamic DNS.
So first question is if there is a desktop client that will let me use P2P to access the camera remotely.
The second question is if there is any way that I can access the Amcrest P2P registry to see what IP address is associated with my camera's S/N.
Thank you for any suggestions.
P2P access from Mac desktop
Re: P2P access from Mac desktop
Hello job1729,
To access the camera remotely , you can use the amcrestview.com portal. Here you can use the serial number and the camera login credentials to gain access. Also the Amcrest Surveillance Software for Mac can be tried.
