I have setup motion detection to record and take a snapshot.
I get the email with the snapshot when the motion is detected but nothing gets recorded or at least nothing shows
up under the playback tab.
Can someone advise how to fix this ?
Camera is IP3M-943W.

For the play back to show recordings, you need to set up recording to an SD card. Schedule must be set up for motion detection recording and destination should be selected as SD card.

Same issue. I can not get the playback for video. I can for snapshots. Motion detection is set up to record. Manual record is not working. If I set to general record it will record and use up sd disk space but I can't see any files in the playback. Note: I have 8 IP3M cameras, 1 camera was working fine, when I restarted the camera it will not record properly now as well. I have factory reset the cameras and still no avail. Also tried re-inserting cards with no joy... Is this just a firmware bug?
