Motion Detect Snapshot Notifications

I am having a very difficult time setting up the camera to either send me or save snap shot images of what has been motion detected. I am getting the text notifications on the app and the cloud app that a motion detect event occurred, but when I go into the amcrest app it shows 'no recordings' for video or photo. I've tried going into playback manually but there are always 'no recordings' for video and images.

How can I set up the app to save images of what was motion detected? I have watched the amcrest set up videos and have the following selected:

Under Motion Detection:
enabled
schedule: whole week all day
region is set full screen
push notifications:
-push type: image
-motion detect: IPC
snapshot: selected (record and alarm output are not selected)

I also have a record schedule set to whole week all day as normal. I changed this once to motion only, and once to motion and normal, but none of these settings saved or sent me any motion detect snap shot images.

My iPhone is properly set up to receive notifications from the amcrest app.

I have a different problem but some feedback on yours too.

I am getting TOO many notification. I get a notification for everything all day long even though i have set my NVR to only specific hours. Any thoughts?

Ok and i too get the notifications but if I got to the app there is no event. But if i click on the notication it takes me to the even in the app - the middle button on the top is selected and there is no content but if i pick the first one there is a video a short one.
But like you i wonder why no event in the app? i can only see it when i click on the notification?

Anyone know why I have so many notifcations when i dont have those times set to notify for Motion Detection?
