Does the ability to view a snapshot of a triggered event in this app require a subscription?
I am able to generate Push Notifications for motion detect in AmcrestViewPro on a Samsung S6 however they show up with "No Recording".
Downloaded and installed the app two days ago. In the app "Push Notifications" configuration the camera is selected and enabled, the "Push Type" is Video and the "Motion Detect" is IPC.
Perhaps I'm getting a little lost in the various apps and interfaces and I find the documentation a little vague in places.
Is a Subscription necessary to see Push Notification event snapshot in AmcrestView?

Hello wally ,
The video or snapshot on n notification is only possible if the camera is recording to an SD card. No subscription is required.

I'm getting the same thing and I believe it's due to the latest firmware. All was working fine before. When I would click on the Amcrest notification icon, it would immediately take me to playback of the image/video (depending on my settings), but now it says No Recording.

I've had something similar to that happen to me--in my case I narrowed it down to something causing the camera to no longer be able to read (i.e., play back) the video streams recorded to the SD card; something is causing the most recent video stream file to get corrupted (previously recorded video stream files are still intact), thus somehow preventing the app from accessing ANY of the video streams recorded on the SD card. Once I delete that one corrupted file, I can access old and current video streams again--once in a blue moon even that workaround doesn't work and I wind up having to reformat the SD card to get the camera to record video to the card again.jeff1234kk wrote:I'm getting the same thing and I believe it's due to the latest firmware.
