IP8M-T2499EW time losing an hour
I've noticed that on my IP8M-T2499EW I lose an hour for some reason. I then PC Sync them but the next day there is always one that is back an hour. I'm not syncing with an external NTP server so I can't see that being the issue. I am using a Synology surveillance station but I don't have anything set in there that would modified the clock settings. What is causing this?

Perhaps it does have something to do with Synology.

I think I found the culprit setting. What I did was DISABLE the Network Time Server synchronization for each camera. Default was set to By Camera settings. This is found in Edit > Optimization of each camera. Seems to work for me. Its been a few days and all time overlays are accurate.

You have to tell it when to start and stop Daylight Saving Time because it doesn't know the dates.

That's not the issue. I PC Sync my cameras individually. They should retain that time until I make a change. For some reason Synology was making changes to the cameras. So I disabled Network Time Server synchronization in Synology even though it was set to By Camera settings. Enable DST and Sync with NTP Server were not checked in the camera to allow a change.
