IP2M-841 won't recognize sd card

Last week when I went to play back some footage, I realized the unit wasn't recording. I've finally gotten a chance to swap out the SD card, thinking it might be defective, but it's not being recognized. I tried a second card as well. The original SD card came out with a lot of difficulty, but the other cards are going in with the little "click" as they should.

When the new cards are inserted, I get the message to insert an SD card. I tried unplugging then re-plugging the unit in, but I still have the same problem.

I'm using SanDisk Ultra 32 mb with the IP2M-841. I have 5 units in two locations and the others are working ok.

I really need this to be recording with playback.

Hello ksp02,

After putting in the with metal pins facing upwards, reboot the camera. Check under storage > Destination > SD card to see if it shows. If it shows an error click format and it should work.

Now if multiple cards does not work, it could be that the SD card slot on the camera is damaged.
