IP Camera Web Acess
IP Camera Web Acess
This is driving me nuts, but having fun learning. Have two cameras and one camera goes to IP Camera Web Access (Login) and the other camera goes to IP Camera Web Access (com.Login). Want both to normal login and not Com.Login, any ideas?
Re: IP Camera Web Acess
Are both your cameras connected to the same network? Have you changed them both to fixed IP addresses, that simplifies things I find.
If you are accessing the cameras using a web browser and while connected to the same network just typing in http://IP address of the camera should connect you to the web interface.
I'm not sure what you mean by "com.login" unless it's to an amcrest cloud account?

Re: IP Camera Web Acess
thinking its going to a cloud account, I never set this up? Both cameras on same nvr and same network.
Re: IP Camera Web Acess
OK. I'm not up to speed on Amcrest NVR's (mine's a different make) but it's important to make a distinction about what you are viewing.
I take it your NVR is attached to your network. That will have it's own IP address and should present a web interface. If you've set your cameras up on the NVR then you can view them *either* through the NVR interface *or* directly from the network using the web interface for each camera.

Re: IP Camera Web Acess
Camera just connects to cloud web view, how can I get it back to regular web view? The other camera connects to web view perfect. Not sure what is causing this. When I only had one camera on the nvr it worked, since I added second camera it started this, and it the first camera that is not connecting now.
Re: IP Camera Web Acess
If I understand your setup correctly you should be able to temporarily switch off your NVR and then connect directly to your cameras using the IP address for each one on your network. A fresh pair of eyes looking over what you've said may see the solution straightaway, I've got a long history of missing the obvious and getting things wrong

Re: IP Camera Web Acess
Thanks for the suggestions longedge, not sure why but it is working right now? Log on in Internet Explorer to see the correct ip and its working, not sure what caused the problem earlier. I really like this system but its a learning curve for me. I have already learned a lot here, maybe someday will be a master.LOL
