How do you setup Amcrest Sub Stream with TinyCam?

Post by huskyboy »

I am interested in using the sub stream on my amcrest with tinycam... I notice when I load the main stream in tinycam there is a lag of 2-4 seconds before it loads. I'm hoping that using the sub stream that it might load faster in tinycam since the sub stream is set to a lower resolution.

I saw a post about using ONVIF profile and channel 2? But I tried many variations of settings and can't seem to get it to work?

I have amcrest 841.

Inputs TinyCam needs:
Vendor: (tried ONVIF)
Model: Profile S
IP: 192.168.29. X (setup a static ip, i've also have a no-ip domain setup)
PORT: X (I think this is the http port?, which i customized but in amcrest there is tcp:37777 udp:37778, http, rstp ports)
Protocol: snapshot, http, RTSP over tcp, RTSP over UDP
RTSP Port: (i customized this but i think default is
HTTPS encryption: Y/N
Channel:

amcrest setup:
static ip
no-ip domain
modified http port
modified rtsp port
modified admin password
setup port forward for the modified ports
enabled onvif
enabled sub stream

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
