Hi,
Just bought an IP2M-841B camera. I use it to monitor my house an hour from where I live, specifically a temperature display I set up. It is connected to a dedicated mobile hotspot. I can access the camera live feed just fine using the app on my iphone as well as the AmcrestView.com site. I'd like to set it up so the camera automatically takes a single picture once an hour and posts it to the cloud so I can monitor the temperature display over time without having to tie up expensive bandwidth looking at it live. However, I can't seem to find the menu or screen that the instruction manual shows where one can set up the snapshot schedule. The configuration menus I can access via the iphone app let me arrange motion detection but not the snapshot schedule. Basically, that entire user interface screen which begins on page 73 of the manual, I can't find anywhere. I've been able to find the recording schedule setup on one of the apps, but the snapshot schedule setup is nowhere to be found.
Couple things to note:
1) I signed up for an account with AmcrestCloud but it says to unplug the replug the camera and I'm an hour away from it, so don't think that is done yet. But not sure the menu for snapshot would be hidden until that is done.
2) I did download the IP Config tool onto my PC, no idea how to get the IP address it seems to need. The camera is an hour away and even then it's on a mobile hotspot so not sure how to find that out.
Many thanks!
