I'm trying to get my cameras to email me when there's motion detected. The motion detection works, video is recorded when there is motion. Additionally, my email settings work, as the "Test Email" function successfully sends me a test email. Lastly, under Event -> Video Detect, "Enable" is selected and so is "Send Email"
Despite all this, when there is motion, I don't receive emails. What the heck?
I have the IP2M-844E IP camera.

Hello ClarksonCote ,
Make sure that the Attachment option under setup > Network > SMTP (Email) as well as the snapshot option under set up > Event > Video Detection is checked.

Hi Melvin,
I thought I tried that but I'll try again.
However, why do those need to be checked? Is it not possible to send an email as a plain alert, and without an attached snapshot?
