Downloading SD Card contents of IP8M-T2499EW

Post by tellyman »

I have the above Camera with an SD card fitted and was wondering if there is an easier way of Copying/Downloading ALL of the SD Card contents easily other than removing the card or copying EACH file for download?

Graham.

Hello and welcome to the Forum..

I don't know of any way outside of what you mention already... Don't know of anyway to clear the MSD without formatting it either.. This might have been put in place as a way to keep people from doing bad and being able to remove a clip so it can't be seen is my guess.. So I don't fault the system for that..
Be Safe.

Amcrest Surveillance Pro(ASP) can export a 24 hour period of camera SD card files to PC in one batch.
Another way is to use ASP PC-NVR where the files would be recorded to PC at the same time they are being recorded to SD card.

Hi jack7 and thank you for your reply.

I already use Amcrest Surveillance Pro but haven't found that option yet.

Can you point me to the relevant instructions please?

Graham.

PS. I do use Synology Surveillance Station but had only set 10Gb rolling storage whereas the card is 128Gb.

The following is for ASP 2 beta. I suggest using
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wrhbv5g6h7bls ... 6.exe?dl=0

On ASP Playback screen:
Select camera
Push calendar icon bottom left
Select day with activity indicated by dot
Default time is 24 hrs
Search
Click right screen edge arrow
Click left icon at right top to select all
Click right icon there to export
Select file type to export

Wow thanks jack, works perfectly.

I did get my old ASP Pro to download but it was limited to 200 files.

Thanks again.
