DAV file converting issue

I use the amcrest 4108e nvr with amcrest cameras. I used their ipconfig tool to rip/copy a 309mb dav file to the computer in order to convert. I'm just messing around with it so when I do have to copy an important file I'll be ready. But I have used their own converting tool as well as another 3rd party program and both convert them to .avi but the file is now broken up into 60+ files of random lengths and sizes.
I haven't found anything in the nvr settings or ipconfig tool that mentions this, but could be overlooking something.
Any ideas?

There's no problem when I taking Amcrest Smart Player to play DAV videos and it can convert DAV to AVI without any problem. If Amcrest Smart Player can't convert DAV files, you try Handbrake, or you can try this one: http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/ti ... erter.html
I just find it on Google. Hope these can help you convert DAV files.
