Connect to camera automatically without login
Connect to camera automatically without login
When I log directly into the camera with its IP address, I get a great image at 1080P. But if I use Angelcam or IPcamlive, the image quality is not as good. Is there a way I could modify the http code to automatically login to the camera and bypass the login name and password screen?
Re: Connect to camera automatically without login
I don't know of a way to do that but I was playing around with a bunch of IP camera software and I noticed that they often default to the sub-stream or for some reason start transcoding the incoming stream.
VLC offers direct stream quality through RTSP and with a little extra work you can have it start with your user and password.
"rtsp://server/video.3gp --rtsp-user=user --rtsp-pwd=password"
You won't be able to get controls working but the quality is like the original.

Re: Connect to camera automatically without login
Good Evening indigojon,
Logging into the camera without using a username and password is not possible.
However, there are many third-party options available which make this more secure.
One of those is https://www.ipcamlive.com/
Here is an article of another service to possible try along with an article for using RTSP.
