Configuring camera so new recordings overwrite old recordings when SDcard is full?

Post by halfanhalf »

Hi all,

I want to configure motion-triggered recording for my two IP2M-841W cameras but I don't want to have to manually delete videos when the SDcards get full. Is it possible to configure the cameras (or the AMCrest ViewPro app) to automatically delete old videos when a card gets full?

Thank you!

Hello and Welcome to the Forum...

You can over WebUi go to the Camera setup, Storage, Record Control in there it will have a drop down that you can Pick Stop or Overwrite... Save/Apply and your all set...
Be Safe.

Yes, I find the web UI the easiest to use :-

Oh awesome, I didn't even realize there was a web UI. I've found the setting, thanks!
