I can't find an answer anywhere. I thought I saw something on it, but can't find it now.
I'm building a big system and having trouble mixing the fast processor with the large storage space, so I'm hoping I can put them as 2 separate machines.

Surveillance Pro cannot record to NAS direclty. I think you can try our 32 channel NVR (NV4432E-HS)that has support for 24TB (6TB x 4) of hard disk.
If you are using all 8MP cams there will be some limitation for live view and playback though.

I have found Surv Pro won't see a networked mapped NAS drive, but does see a USB mounted external drive. That may be a viable work around for you
