If I have a camera in my home and one in my mother's home, will it create any kind of conflict when I try to view the cameras remotely? Will they use the same app and plug-in but separate log-ins? In other words, I'll be viewing both cameras, locations on the same laptop, desktop, and tablet. Since the app and plug-ins are already installed for my home location, when I add a camera to my mother's location can I assume it won't be necessary to download anything again, and if so, will separate log-ins differentiate the cameras? "Add Device" wouldn't work in this situation, would it?
Thanks for any help, input with this. I haven't purchased the second camera yet but am considering it.

Re: Cameras in separate homes, app conflict?
Hello ksp01,
You can still use the same app and same amcrestview.com portal to view the second camera at different location. You can have different login credentials for both cameras. You can manually add the seconds cam on the app and under the 'user' option in Amcrestview.com portal.

Re: Cameras in separate homes, app conflict?
Thank you, Melvin, I'm glad that will work and should be easy to set up. Looking forward to getting the second camera!

Re: Cameras in separate homes, app conflict?
This thread being several years old, I was wondering if there is any updates? I am wanting to add cameras to a second home and would prefer to have separate apps. This would make it easy to view each house separately. Any suggestions?
Re: Cameras in separate homes, app conflict?
To be honest best thing in my mind would be use the Amcrest Pro App on iOS or Droid and set your cameras up over P2P for both locations.. When you bring up app. Have them named in your app so you know what one is what... Say like Dads Boat House for your dads place and Moms Retreat then you know that you click on that one your wanting to look at your looking at that one... Other option is as Melvin said above you could put your camera view over amcrestview.com and access them over that site. I had mine setup there at first but removed them and changed my passwords after moving them because, Seeing if there was ever a data breech now my passwords to my cameras could be known to wrong doers and I am not looking for that...
Be Safe.

Thank you very much, I'll try it.
Re: Cameras in separate homes, app conflict?
Setup cameras on amcrestview.com and could access them on both of my laptops. When I go to the site on my iphone 7 running IOS version 13.3.1, I see the cameras and NVR (same screen as on my laptops). However when I go to NVR live, I get a quick error message that I can't read and nothing happens. The error message resembles (but can't verify) the "wait one moment" message I got when setting up the laptops before I got them up and running. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Re: Cameras in separate homes, app conflict?
amcrestview.com requires that a browser plugin be installed. IOS Safari does not support it. Try using Amcrest View Pro app in IOS. Add your P2P (serial#) devices there.
