Amcrestview.com issues ...device is offline
Amcrestview.com issues ...device is offline
Since about last week I have been unable to access my camera from the P2P web gateway. My camera is accessible from android phone and tablet via Amcrest View Pro apps so it clearly is not offline. I was able to access through the website until about a week ago. Nothing has changed on my end. IE 11.0.35. Any ideas why its showing as offline?

I also kept getting the same message repeatedly for three cameras even though they were online. I had to keep retrying until they finally came up. Today it seems to have improved. Hopefully Amcrest fixed something on its end and yours is working now too.

Thanks for the reply. Still getting "device is offline". Removed camera and added it again. Still nothing. Not sure why. It was working fine for a few weeks until about 2 weeks ago. Definitely NOT offline though. Looking at it right now with my phone. Have people been able access their device through amcrestview.com with other browsers?

Same issue here. It's been several months since I've been able to login through the web portal. The device is clearly online, as there are no issues using the app on android or iphone. This is very frustrating. Nothing had changed on my end, either.

Re: Amcrestview.com issues ...device is offline
Here's what I discovered. I, too, was able to see my camera via my iPhone, but on my PC, it said "Offline" and something about "Host Not Found".
I was able to get it back on line by going to the devices tab and deleting the camera and reinstalling it. Once it came back up, it had a different IP address and was still off line. I then went into the edit option (with the pencil) icon and reset the password since it defaulted back to "admin". Then it was back to Green and Online.
We'll see if this works the next time. I have no idea why it went off line only on my PC.
