I just bought my Amcrest 8ch DVR (with 8 cameras,) from Fry's. It's a 960h.
I found the RTSP link, and it works well: https://amcrest.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/ar ... -URL-960H-
I have all my ports forwarded, web port (8080,) media port (9000,) rtsp port (554)
but when i go to:
http://admin:[email protected]/cgi-bi ... ?channel=1
I get the following response:
Server: GoAhead-http
Date: Sun Apr 24 09:04:44 2016
Content-Length: 193
Connection: keep-alive
<html> <head><title>Document Error: Not Found</title></head> <body> <h2>Access Error: Not Found</h2> <p>CGI program file does not exist</p> </body> </html>
I've also tried:
http://admin:[email protected]/cgi-bi ... .cgi?chn=1,
i've tried different ports, the whole shebang.
Can an engineer please tell us what the definitive URL is for snapshots? I have services that are required that utilize thee (my old dvr ahd these,) i'm glad this one has RTSP stream links and what not, but what i really need for low-bandwidth quick-response purposes is a small compressed jpg with what is on camera at this precise moment.
Thanks!
