So yesterday I was setting up my cameras and got everything working. Woke up this morning to see that the app wouldn't connect to my NVR/Cameras. Just kept saying "Connecting" and then would show "Failed to connect." This was working great last night. In fact, I was laying in bed last night playing with the cams.
So in trying to debug, I found that the app was updated this morning before I woke up. It is now version 3.40.0047. I tried deleting the app and re-downloading from the App Store. Still no luck and now my devices are all gone (which I knew would be the case when I deleted it).
I am on an iPhone 6s+. The cams show up fine on the web browser interface on the computer.

Hello Bob,
So you readded the NVR on the app using the p2p method and still not working? Can you reboot the NVR and try again? If you are still having issues, please give us a call and we can help you get it up and running with port forwarding.

everytime there is an update there are problems with cameras and cloud, this shouldn't happen and we shouldn't have to call and change anything
Re: Aecrest View Pro app stopped working after update today.
Yep, deleted the app completely so I had to try to re-add the NVR. When I add it via the QR scan, then put in the admin password and click start live preview, it just doesn't connect. I have rebooted the NVR a few times, still nothing.Melvin wrote:Hello Bob,

I will try to call later, but if you can give me some info about what to change I can try it.
Thanks,

Melvin, more info...
The iPad App (both pro & lite) will connect to my NVR with no problems. I can view all cams that way. It's just the iPhone app giving me problems. Amcrest View Pro for iPhone.

Can confirm same issue and it is only related to Iphone pro version app. Ipad pro and lite work fine, Android pro and lite both work. Only Iphone pro version no longer will connect to DVR via IP/Domain.

Having the same issue. Can you please republish previous version ASAP!!!
Re: Aecrest View Pro app stopped working after update today.
All my devices are on the same Wifi network including my Amcrest 1080P IP2M-841 IP Camera. I am able to connect and view the video feed with the Chrome "Amcrest Web View" app extension from my desktop PC using the IP address and logging in with the admin user. I am also able to connect and view the camera feed from the "Amcrest View Pro for iPad" app via wifi using the IP/Domain setup option, but the "Amcrest View Pro" app for iPhone is not able to connect using that same option and just says "Login timed out".
This issue just recently started occurring with the iPhone applications on 7/6/2016 (I suspect the "Bug fix" update 3.40.0047 may have caused this issue). We were able to view the camera feed on the iPhone app just a few days ago without changing anything in the setup of the network or wifi IP Camera.
