AD110 and NVR problems
AD110 and NVR problems
I have an AD110 it was working fine recording to my GW Security NVR before the last update now it does not record to it. Has anyone else seen this problem and did you fix it?
Re: AD110 and NVR problems
Hello and Welcome to the Forum
I have a good many recorders and I normally have my AD110 on my Amcrest NVR.. However from time to time I will test things out over my Other recorders some being same type as Amcrest and some different type from Hikvision.. After updates in FW I will do a Revisit of different recorders, DVR and NVR's alike and test that there was nothing odd in the update to make things not work.. After doing the update to 922 I did this again and just now after I read your post to make sure that things were still working outside the Amcrest Environment and it worked the day I did a Update and it also still works today...
It has been reported that ! in the password can cause issues. So if your Password has a ! in it I would change your password then I would try your install again within your GW nvr and see if that cures the issue.. IF you don't have a ! or some other odd digit like it maybe just try to change the password and see if it helps...
I have just tested it on Hikvision OEM DVR and NVR and also 2 older 1080p Dahua OEM NVR's and they all loaded the camera in without an issue.. Even though it seems the last one I installed it in has a TIme difference of a minute so now my time is off all the others stayed in good times..

Re: AD110 and NVR problems
Revo2Maxx thank you for the reply. My NVR is connecting diagnostics says its a protocol issue. My NVR does not do RTSP only ONVIF. The camera says its ONVIF but still not working. I will keep trying.
Re: AD110 and NVR problems
Odd the DVR that I connected it to for testing was connected Via ONVIF and didn't have any issues.. I would make sure that you let the DVR or NVR pick the info needed for loading it in as a device..
Here is why I said this.. I just tried to setup an Old Dahua OEM nvr to the AD110 with the Add Manual button rather then doing a Device search add.. When I do the add I used the info off my other Recorder, IP, Port, Type and so on to match inside the NVR and changed the Password to reflect the info needed and after trying to get it to connect it fails and will not make a connection. So i thought ok lets try Digital Watchdog and see what happens WOW took forever for the AD110 to load, I had to log in like 4 different times as I thought maybe I had forgot the password and was really the issue but that wasn't the issues it just was taking its time lol.. SO back to the NVR OEM Dahua, I did a Device Search and add, changed password and it came online right away..
SO I don't know just some things that I have done to try and find out what might be causing this. Something to try is adding from device search..
This time I didn't mess up the doorbells colors because last time I connected to that NVR the poor doorbell had to be Reset lol This time it just changed my Encoding to a lower FPS and quality so I had to fix in camera and my normal NVR.. I keep forgetting not to connect to that NVR lol
