Unable to add existing cameras

It seems like there is no way of adding existing/accessible cameras back into the smart home app without doing a complete factory reset of the cameras and starting from scratch. Is that correct? It seems hard to believe.

And I know they work fine because I can access and use them with both Surveillance Pro on the PC and the View Pro app on my phone.

Any help would be appreciated.

@lencia Hello and Welcome to the Forum

So couple of things.. what FW are you using?

There should be no issue with the latest fw with being offline the App.. Sadly if you are not on the 701 or 702 FW then you will have to do a Factory reset on the Doorbell to get the camera to come back online the APP...

While not everyone has had to do a Factory reset and App delete of the device after fw update However I would after the Update to be safe and after the camera can connect to app again.. if you are not on the latest FW i would dl it and then again after a Connection to the Camera to make sure that your able to connect I would again do a factory Reset... However the last one you might omit if you are not required but I would do it just to make sure that there is nothing lingering from the old FW inside the camera...

Thanks for the info. I did factory reset them and upgrade them to 700 series FW. Will keep fingers crossed...thx again.
