This issue started yesterday but the last update on my Samsung phone was on 11/29.
Ok the issue may not be related to the last update then. Not sure if it's a generic Android issue or something specific to Samsung.
Maybe Amcrest has different servers for Apple than Android.

I updated earlier this week, but I am pretty sure that the app still worked after that, but not 100% sure.
Anyone try reinstalling the app maybe? May try that.
I reinstalled the app on my Samsung. Checked all my security permissions. Still getting the Network Error.

Called amcrest it's android base network error due to update this week. They are aware and working on a fix.
I don't think it's an android only issue, as I have the app running on Pixel, Galaxy Tab, and iPhone. All devices started getting the config error and when I uninstalled/reinstalled on the Pixel I can't even login now, getting the "Network Error" message. The Tab was a fresh install on a brand new device and getting the "Network Error" message. I think the IPhone only works because the app was already connected when servers had issue. I am still getting the config error on the iphone if I try and update motion detection or any other config.
Same here "Network Error" since yesterday on Amcrest Smart Home. My router shows strong connection on each camera, ip addresses are perfect, etc. Can still connect through Amcrest Survellence Pro, so looks like it is on Amcrest's end. Bummer!
