Hi @fennec62 - I assume you installed the update from the link in this OP, but didn't read any of the followup posts, such as:
For anyone thinking about installing the latest AD410 firmware from the OP link - DO NOT - if you want event handling to work with Home Assistant, Hubitat, et.al.
You are going to have to contact @eliamcrest with an Amcrest Support case to request the original firmware (v.20210220).

I've pleaded with Eli weeks ago to add release notes to this firmware to warn users this is a breaking change/BUG to event handling - OR - to immediately pull this firmware until fixed. No response. The faulty firmware is still listed for download with no caution.

Hi @kantlivelong - Do you have any update from Eli? I'm wondering if the developer's have yet acknowledged this event handling bug and are working on fixing it or not.

Thanks!

Your email/support request was sent 2 days ago on a Saturday. Amcrest support doesn't work weekends.

That is an interesting approach you've come up with to monitor button push. But since you've mentioned using a Raspberry, you should look into Home Assistant or amcrest2mqtt. Button press and motion/human detection API events can trigger any automation/alerts you want - no clever electrical gizmo's required.
