Alexa and POE camera connected to NVR

Is there a way to connect a POE camera (plugged to an NVR) to Amcrest Cloud/Alexa?

P2P doesn't seem to work on the POE cameras plugged to the NVR, only on the NVR itself.

Hello, I don't know if this will help you or not. But there was some type of How-to and not sure if it will work for what your trying to do. But if you haven't looked over that you might find what your looking for there... Maybe if things work out you might let others know what you did so they can try it as well. Or maybe if you tried and it didn't work post that as well. Then others that may have tried and failed and tried and found it to work might know a step that was over looked to make it work...

Connect the camera to the router with a POE switch or POE injector. If NVR is connected to router, the router connected camera can be added to NVR. Check the ratings for the Alexa Amcrest skill.
