Can't change default password in IP Config

Hello,

I couldn't post in Technical board, so I post here.

I'm trying to change the default password to log onto my camera. However, as soon as I click OK to submit my password, IP Config close completely and the default password remain the same.

It appears that IP Config doesn't accept strong password. I appears to accept a simple password (8 alphanumeric characters).

Is that the limit of IP Config or I am missing something?

Hello tle70 ,

Login to the cameras web interface by clicking on the 'e' icon in Ipconfig tool or by typing in the ip address of the camera to a browser like IE or Firefox. You can change the password under Setup > System > Manage users.

Unless its a POE camera? they should be available in IP config without an additional injector added to my POE NVR.
