Any news about number of snapshot per mail issue.
I have IPM721 with 16.R build: 2016-09-09 but Snapshot 1-3-5 under event / video detection does have no effect. Just one picture is attached in e-mail.
Corrected firmware would be highly appreciated. When it will come?
Motion Detection: Number of snapshots per email
Re: Motion Detection: Number of snapshots per email
Is there any progress for the feature? It's a very critical feature, which a lot of other brands already have it. I have recently purchased two Amcrest cameras, and I didn't know it lacked such basic function, and I am thinking if I should return them...

Hey everyone,
Please find the screenshot below showing where you can modify the number of snapshots received:

This is on firmware version 2.420.AC00.17.R, Build Date: 2017-04-07, which is a new firmware, however this feature also has existed on previous firmware from 2016.

Re: Motion Detection: Number of snapshots per email
@Raheel,
How did you get this to work?
Setting the "snapshot count" as above never worked for me and I'm using the latest firmware as you are.
In your example, based on the timestamps on the images, how many seconds apart are these snapshots? Probably 5+ seconds apart (given your anti-dither setting above)?
Could you tell what you've set the interval values for these other settings:
camera -> video -> snapshot
smtp -> email interval
The older foscams were able to do this right out of the box without any need to specify configuration. Every motion detection event would mail 5 successive snapshots and mail them as attachments in a SINGLE email.
I have just about given up trying to do this with Amcrest.

Re: Motion Detection: Number of snapshots per email
I'm wondering if the feature only works if there is an SD card installed.

Re: Motion Detection: Number of snapshots per email
It sends more than one per email now on 2.420.AC00.17.R, Build Date: 2017-03-22 but I cant determine how it decides how many to bundle. I've seen it send 5 for a single motion detect and then send 2 in one email and 1 in another from the same minute of motion detect.

I tried that as well and it is of no use.

Since you seem to be the only one able to achieve so many posters on this thread are having great difficulty with, could you please share what you had to do to get this working?
Thanks.
