How to change video channel

Post by bmeeng »

I have 3 ip3m-954eb connected to a POE switch that is connected to my router and 1 ip2m-841b connected via wifi. They all broadcast video on channel 1. Is there a way to change this? When motion is detected on 1 camera video is stored on all 4 cameras through Surveillance Pro PC-NVR. I assume it's due to them all recording on channel 1.

Yes you can do it. But i'm not sure if you can using the Amcrest Pro Software. I use a different version of the software that un-limits the NVR size from 200GB max to more than 16TB i know of. Check your PM and try using that software i linked you, install the new V2 of this software. Have to remove your old one first though. Install this new software and once you do an add your devices, you can go into the "Device's" tab and change the channel numbers there. Hopefully this will resolve your issues. Please let us know if this fixes your problems.

So you are saying that Amcrest software, that was created to record video from a camera, can not and will not allow you to change the channel so only one camera records at a time? lol Amcrest is a joke. What a waste of money.
