Hi all. I moved into a house that has 7 QSee HD cameras hard wired to the garage with an ethernet cable running to the garage as well. QSee no longer makes the NVR so i purchased the Amcrest NV4108E-2TB. Today I plugged in everything and connected the Cat5 camera cables. I downloaded the app and have the NVR online but the cameras are all showing Video Channel is Offline. I have tried rebooting and im a bit loat at this point.
Could someone please help? I am new to this all. Are these cameras compatible? Do I need to do something else? Thank you in advance.

Re: Help with QSee cameras connected to NV4108E-2TB
Don't know qsee, so would need to log into cameras WebUI, then in there should be something about ONVIF, if required as some devices are. Would need to either enable or setup ONVIF user. If only enable needed then use camera password and connect with ONVIF protocol.

Thank you for reply! That reads like a foreign language to me lol... How would I log into the cameras webui if they are only connected to the new NVR? I also have no idea the camera password as they were installed before I bought the house... Thank you in advance and im sorry im so new to this.

Re: Help with QSee cameras connected to NV4108E-2TB
Ok not knowing the password will be an issue, will need to find out if the camera has default info in use, like admin admin for user and pass, then could be anything, next will need to find out if they have reset button on wite cluster or inside camera, then another issue and 1 that can stop access in ip range. NVR switch for camera would be 10.1.1.xx normally so without being in right range. So will need to connect to camera with pass around cable from port on nvr to your router or switch/gub and connect using right ip range and so on. But sounds like camera will need to be reset back to factory with reset switch.
