Why is it if I search "IP2M-841" I get the response: No posts were found because the word ip2m-841 is not contained in any post.
Funny thing is the first topic when searching has IP2M-841 in it!

I believe that's more an issue with the forum software than with Amcrest. Try searching 'IP2M' (or 841), you'll get a number of responses.
Can't speak to the other question, but five months is a lot better than never, which is the last time my IP3M-956E was updated
