I have an IP8M-2496EB-40MM with a 512gb MicroSD card. For some reason, I can't see the playback in the browser.
Any suggestions?
I can confirm that it's recording:
Software Version V2.622.00AC000.0.R, Build Date: 2021-03-19
WEB Version V3.2.1.677800
ONVIF Version 16.12(V2.4.3.651299)
Storage limit for IP8M-2496EB-40MM?
Re: Storage limit for IP8M-2496EB-40MM?
Sadly that camera Stats say that it only supports upto 128gb Micro SD cards... I am going to guess that might be the issue..

@Revo2Maxx I'm using 256gb cards in other IP8M-2493 cams with no issue

Sadly I can't say what it will work with over what the Stats for the camera says it will work with.. IT might have been at the time it was built the largest offered MSD might have only been 128 so that might be way it says it was only size it works with. Or might have been that the ones it was tested on didn't work enough times out of testing to say that it would work with 256.. So 128 there was enough testing to say it is MAX..
Maybe out of 10 test with 256 it came back that only 2 would work where with 128 test of 10 came back that 9 worked...
Same kind of goes with hDD for recorders. In some cases the system can only work with what is stated by the hardware used or just only known at the time from size made to work. That is why some people have 8 or 10tb hdd in a recorder that says it will only work up to 6tb.. Personally I can only go by what the data says. If something is found to work outside of that I personally still wouldn't promote that seeing it might not work the same for someone else or it might be that the Hardware used in yours or a few others has the ability however was not designed and better go with what is stated then people upset because something didn't work.
