I have bought the HB-7612-02 chime. I have it running on battery only. It is not hard wired. When I push the button on the AD110, nothing happens. I have it set to "Digital Chime" in the app. The AD110 is wired directly to a 18V 500mA AC adapter and it's running with my Blue Iris software.
Instructions and information are not clear. Am I incorrect in assuming that the AD110 works as a wireless button to trigger the chime?

Re: AD110 not syncing with battery operated chime
hi @CrazyAsian and welcome to the forum. the ad110 needs the included chime kit and hardwired to an indoor chime in order to work.

Thanks for the reply. That's disappointing. The WI-FI Video Doorbell User Manual on page 7 (Wireless Chime Wiring Diagram) does not show ad110 hardwired to the chime.

Re: AD110 not syncing with battery operated chime
page 5 of the manual shows how the chime kit is hardwired to the indoor chime.
if you currently don't have an existing wired doorbell chime, you may have to look into the ohmkat wireless universal video doorbell chime. https://www.amazon.com/OhmKat-Wireless- ... 07L9JHY5H/

Re: AD110 not syncing with battery operated chime
Okay. Must be something different that I'm looking at.
I followed the "User Manual" link:

I live in a rental town house and can't go into the walls. I think I can just wire it on the outside of the wall I will try to figure something out. I still do like the cam.

Re: AD110 not syncing with battery operated chime
the diagram is right to show the included chime kit is not needed if you're setting it up with a wireless chime but the diagram was incomplete when it's missing a transmitter to a the wireless indoor chime.
i think you should look into the ohmkat wireless universal video doorbell chime since there is a transmitter module that you hook up to the video doorbell so it can send a signal to the wireless chime when the doorbell button is pressed.-
