Mine was working until a few months ago, just gettin around to debuging it.
Checked server, port, usernames and passwords.
Low security gmail switch is enabled.
No luck, just magically stopped, no logs to look at what is going on.
Emailed them, but since they don't seem to update the NV2108-HS with new firmware, it seems yet another deprecated nvr will go in the trash.

Maybe the profusion of threads for the same issue would be limited if people read the earlier posts on this topic... the reason is explained here, Amcrest's TLS client is broken. You'll never get it to work with Gmail without a firmware upgrade.
