IPC Warning when no internet connection
IPC Warning when no internet connection
What's the best way to get a warning when IPC internet connection is down ? Assuming I don't look at the Web View or Surveillance Pro all the time.

Re: IPC Warning when no internet connection
ALARM CFG in Surveillance Pro may be what you need, possibly using the Video Loss event to alert you in various ways.
Another option could be to use a Ping Monitor with Alerts program found with Google.

Re: IPC Warning when no internet connection
Thanks for the response.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Option 1 is probably not going to work when the IPCs are not connected to the internet.
I checked Option 2 using Google Alerts, but it is more of a marketing tool to find out if your website is used by another websites.
Then my google related search ran into website uptime monitoring script using google doc. I'm currently testing it. Here is the link on how to do it: https://www.labnol.org/internet/website ... tor/21060/

Re: IPC Warning when no internet connection
Option 1: I haven't used it but I assumed it was for IPCs being used by Surveillance Pro and the Video Loss alarm could mean a camera disconnect.
Option 2: Hope the monitoring script works for you.
My message was based on a google search of Ping Monitor with Alerts. There's a lot of programs there.
