I have a new 16 port hdcvi dvr running 9 amcrest hdcvi 1080p cameras and 2 off-brand 1080p PTZ outdoor ONVIF wifi cameras. Surprisingly the off-brand cameras work well, were automatically detected, and I can pan, tilt and zoom them using the Amcrest DVR software popup menu. They are a tad sluggish compared to the HDCVI cameras but we can live with that.
But the user wants an actual controller like one of these on amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss ... 5+joystick
does anyone know if this is possible to wire up a controller to the a/b pins on the back of the DVR and make this work?
Thanks.

Did you ever get an answer for this? The answer I keep getting was to use the app, or the webpage... and I would love to have a console station with the joystick and a monitor... rather than a keyboard and mouse.
Thanks!
Thanks!
