amcrest ip4m-1025ew can't hold video settings???

I have had this issue for quite some time. I have been expecting it to be solved with a patch to no avail.

I have my video settings set to the highest (H.264, 2688x1520, 20, cbr, 10240) and every couple of days they are reset to the lowest settings without any interaction from myself. I have tried everything from unregistering from the cloud, changing my password, I even bought an AMCREST NVR! to see if it would solve the issue and it has not. I am ready to uninstall the entire system and go with another manufacturer unless someone can give me a fix once and for all.

Seems to be a rather common issue. The kicker, Amcrest will want you to pay for shipping, again, to replace any camera. That's their fix.
