Hi,
I updated my ip3m-943w camera to version 2.400.AC01.15 and after reset to factory defaults and re-importing the settings, ftp no longer works for saving snapshots. The error returned is "Operation Failed" when the Test button is pressed. Was working fine before when using firmware version 2.520.AC00.26. Tried updating to version 2.400.AC02.15 with the same results.
Inspecting the logs on the ftp server shows that the camera is trying to use its ipv6 address which is not defined. There doesn't seem any way to configure the camera to disable ipv6. Has anyone else seen this or know a solution?

Just wanted to come here to say I'm experiencing the same problem. Updated the same camera to the latest firmware and now FTP just states "Operation Failed".

Get out! Are you saying that you installed a firmware update and found that the fine folks at Amcrest didn't test it properly and it broke things? Shocking! /snark
Please go to Amazon and share your experience. Those of us who have owned Amcrest cameras for any length of time know this is SOP for them. I refuse the update firmware on any Amcrest product I own for this reason. Only a steady stream of 1-star Amazon reviews will change the culture of poor SDLC practices at Amcrest.
