This is probably 'old school' for most here, but I had to learn the process by trial and error.
How to capture a photo from an Amcrest camera live.
Bring up your Amcrest camera screen on the Amcrest Pro cell phone application, on the bottom of that screen, click on the camera icon and take photo(I only see the camera icon when I hold my cell phone in landscape), next touch upper left hand corner of cell phone screen, go to my saved flies, click on the mountains or photo icon, click on the pencil icon, click on photo you wish to work with, click on the cloud with three dots, click on whatever you wish to do with the photo .

I find it much quicker to screenshot on my iPhone.
