Very blurry

Post by Ryan13 »

Just recieved my nv4108e 4k ultra HD nrv and two 4k cameras. I'm not running them through internet. I just have the cameras plugged into the nvr and the quality is horrible. I have my resolutions set as high as they will go on both the cameras aswell as the nvr output. I've seen 720 cameras at better quality, is there something I'm doing wrong?

Yikes.
You're scaring me. I have that NVR and I just ordered a 4K camera to replace an older 2M camera. I haven't received the camera yet.
Can you show us some screenshots of some settings?
1. System - Display on the NVR
2. Camera - Video on the Camera.
What about the camera lens, is it clean?

Not sure how to add pictures on this forum but would love to. Lens very clean on both cameras. Gotta be a setting I have that's off I assume. But I know the system-display is set high and the cameras are on the highest setting. It's only on a 1080p tv through hdmi but still I cant read a cardboard box that's 10ft in front of the camera. Any suggestions?

When you're typing your response in the "Full Editor", at the bottom there are 2 tabs "Options" and "Attachments". Click on "Attachments" and "Add Files".

I have noticed when I access the cameras remotely whether through Internet Explorer, "Amcrest Surveillance Pro", or even the App on the iPhone, the image looks a lot better than when I'm looking at it on the connected monitor via VGA or even on the TV via HDMI.

Somehow remotely looks a lot better for me. I never pay attention to it because I usually look at it remotely anyway. Rarely do I look at the cameras through the connected monitor.

Is that the correct settings you wanted to see?
