Wireless internet connection
Wireless internet connection
Can the 960H (4) internet connection be hooked up with usb wireless adapter rather than the either net (10/100 adaptive network interface) connection?
Re: Wireless internet connection
You should call or email Amcrest to ask that. If you can't, you might consider using a powerline ethernet adapter like this http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-PA4010 ... r+ethernet.
You could plug it into a power socket near the DVR and then plug the other end in near your router. I think you would be happier with that connectivity than with wireless. You want all the bandwidth possible going from your DVR to your router so that you can get a good remote picture. Just a thought.
Another option if you need wireless, would be to use a wifi to Ethernet adapter like this http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Universal ... e+wireless.
If the DVR can't support a USB wireless adapter, either of those options might work for you.
