ip3m-hx2 cameras stop responding.

Hello there,

I have the following equipment.

4 x ip3m-hx2
1 x NV2108 NVR
1 x Ubiquiti Nano HD Accesspoint 4x4 5ghz band

the system works good for most of the time until randomly one of the cameras looses connection , and it displays both leds in red. I can reboot the ap and it never connects back until I manually reboot the camera unplugging the ac cable. The cameras aren't too far away from the AP , and theres no signal problem.

its a bit uncomfortable to check my security system and one of the cameras is out.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Sound like one of the cameras has problems. Could be a surge. I had one that needed to be unplugged and putting it on battery backup worked for me. It was a PITA to get in the attic and router all the power to an APS but I am glad I did. Surge protector might help avoid the rewiring.

that's the only reply I have received, Ill see If I can get a surge protector to see if there's any difference.
