Re: Push Notifications Not Showing up in Event List
I have the same issue, did anyone ever figure this out? Overall I like the cameras but the app is absolutely awful, it is the most buggy app I have on my phone, basic features simply do not work. They really need to stop and put some serious focus into the software side of their core products. Nearl...

Re: Loud Fan NV4108-HS
I unplugged the fan in mine too, it has been running for several months without issues and temperature measurements show things stay within a reasonable range. The fan may be necessary if you have a particularly hot-running hard drive or live in a hot climate but in most cases you should be ok to un...

Re: NVR drops cameras connection
I'm having this same problem on my mom's NV-4108E-HS, cameras intermittently drop out, one of the four drops frequently then often returns a day or so later. Another two drop occasionally, I noticed this when I went to look at the recording. One of them has been rock solid, I've never seen that one ...

Re: NVR overwrite HDD when full
Yes I installed a 4108E at my mom's house and stuck in a 750GB drive I had laying around for the time being. It took about 5 days for it to reach 0GB free with four 3MP cameras and since then it has continued to record without any issues. It automatically overwrites the oldest data with the newest, ...

Re: Any way to use browser to view the cam without any plugin?
Pretty much all of these Chinese IP camera companies are stuck in 2005. It will be interesting to see what happens going forward since the ancient browsers and plugins they rely on have already been deprecated and very soon will be gone completely from nearly all computers in use.

Re: Browser plugins don't work?
Have you found a NVR that does support modern browsers without ridiculous workarounds? I've been looking around and they all seem to run the same ancient firmware with minor customizations to the interface. If one of these companies open-sourced their firmware, competent developers would rapidly imp...

Re: firefox and internet explorer plugins no longer working
I set up an Amcrest system at my mom's house recently and was really disappointed to find that I could not even access it using her Linux laptop, I had to install the app on her phone and that works about half the time and fails to connect other times. I cannot even believe that support is going aro...
