How to disable PC Sync for time

Here is the problem. When I travel to a different time zone and login to the camera from a web browser like IE, the time gets automatically synced to that PC time. This changes all my recording schedule. If it is one hour or so it is ok. But it is like Europe time as I check from a PC from the offic...

Re: How do I download video clips from camera?

I had reported this issue with my 4K camera months ago. I could not download the videos recorded on the SD card. If I press the arrow it will just say 0% and stay there for ever. Nothing gets downloaded. I also tried the new firmware and after that I could not even play the files anymore. Could not ...

Connecting non-POE cameras to NV4108E

Can I connect non-POE cameras directly to NV4108E using ethernet? The non-POE cameras of course have their own power adapter. Looks like the answer is No after reading the manual. But I wanted to double check. I guess they will have to be connected to the router and the NVR should be connected to th...

Re: HX1 image is sharper than HX2. Why?

James My main complaint about HX2 has been that it gives a poor image in low lighting. Very hazy, grainy image. But what you took were in very bright office lighting. You have not posted the low light images that I had requested. So your comparison may not conclusively prove that HX2 gives a sharper...

Re: HX1 image is sharper than HX2. Why?

Amcrest is going to argue in favor of HX2 obviously. You guys can argue whatever you like. I have done the comparison in low light and I am just not convinced that HX2 gives a sharper image. It is not the glass. If glass causes HX2 image to be hazy, it should also affect HX1 image. HX2 is just not c...

Re: HX1 image is sharper than HX2. Why?

James Thanks for the images. I do see that overall H1X is sharper. While H2X has more information when zoomed in due to higher resolution, it is not very useful information. A 4k camera is needed if one wants to zoom into details. I am mainly looking for a sharp overall image. If it is not much trou...

Re: HX1 image is sharper than HX2. Why?

Look at the grass and the shrub near the patio. Clearly the HX1 gives a sharper image. Forget the objects that are beyond 50 feet. Whatever are the conditions, they should affect both the cameras. That is not the case. I have already played with color and B/W. The exposure, sharpness etc. are all de...

Re: HX1 image is sharper than HX2. Why?

Evening images. No direct sun light. You can see that the grass and shurb are very sharp in the HX1 image. Where as the grass and shrub, expecially the grass is just hazy in the HX2 image. So the fact by Jack that the HX2 draws less light probably explains why the HX2 image is not sharp when there i...
