Re: Once on wi-fi - always on wi-fi??
Downloaded a fresh copy of the firmware, installed it and then did hard reset. No more wi-fi connection. I suspect that a hard reset might have done the job. Firmware as in my sig which is latest version.
My conclusion is that the web UI settings page doesn't always show the true situation.

Re: Once on wi-fi - always on wi-fi??
I agree, what I'm seeing defies logic. In the next day or so I'll be doing a factory reset and set up again with ethernet not using wi-fi at all.

Once on wi-fi - always on wi-fi??
When I set one of my IP3M-941 cameras up initially, I tried it out on wi-fi. It worked OK but as I have an ethernet socket near to the camera, I use it on ethernet. The camera's IP when on ethernet is 192.168.178.24 static address. I take manual snapshots at random times throughout the day which are...

Re: IP Config
I'm not sure about IPConfig as I never use it but if you log in to the camera web UI and go to Camera/Video/Overlay then one of the items is "Logo Overlay". If you select that and then click on "Disable" then save that should do what you want.

Re: Does Amcrest Have a Multi Hard Drive Model
Just speaking from personal experience, two of my cameras are 2K but I have the resolution in video settings at 1920x1080 and I really can't tell the difference. It's worth considering when making adjustments.

Re: Does Amcrest Have a Multi Hard Drive Model
Just a thought, if you've got 6 HD cameras recording simultaneously to the device then you could be at risk of swamping the network node if it's 100Mbps, especially if there is any other device sharing the bandwidth. It's unlikely that is the case but when bottlenecks occur they aren't always where ...

Re: python or http api access to the live stream of IP4M-1051B
Hello and welcome to the forum. To access the camera video stream I use - rtsp://admin:password@192.168.178.22:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0 That works well for me in an app that I built for myself ( don't know Python my environment is LUA based but just a 'pre-cooked' gui ). p.s. - Fo...

In ASP Live View, right click the device in question and change the selection to "Main Stream".
