Re: Record to local folder rather than NVM

Hello and welcome to the forum. As far as I know, those options control the file location used when you manually start recording video or take a snapshot. manualrecord.jpg When you installed Amcrest Surveillace Pro did you also install PC-NVR? If so then you'll need to set the options up for PC-NVR ...

Re: IPM-721S not downloading

Hello and welcome to the forum.

How are you connecting to the camera? I've found the most reliable way is by way of the Webgui.

I take it that it's a fairly old camera. Has it been OK up to now?

Re: IP2M-841B backdoor admin88

My own camera was also purchased from Amazon here in the UK. I downloaded the firmware just now from Amcrest website. I installed the firmware and did a factory reset. I have my own thoughts on this matter but I shall pass it up to Amcrest. I think that it's very significant when you say the new use...

I've never heard of anything like this before, it sounds very suspicious and so I just downloaded a fresh copy of that firmware and installed it in my own camera.

What I am seeing is entirely normal.

Where was the camera purchased, is it second hand?

Re: Playback for SD card

Hello and welcome to the forum. This puts me in mind of a problem that I've been having with one of my cameras recently when I couldn't understand why I was getting any recordings. Can you confirm that you have checked the SD card and established that there are actual recordings present. When I look...

Re: Amcrest Surveillance Pro login screen disappears...

I'm not 100% sure about this but as far as I can see, the option to auto login to ASP is chosen when it is installed and there isn't an option, once installed, to change that choice. The easiest way forward would be to uninstall and then re-install the application although I find it very convenient ...

Re: Switch IP3M-941B from Wired to Wireless?

If you login to your camera web user interface and go to the network section then select WiFi and enable it, your camera should search and then display any SSID's that it can 'see'. Select your own and complete the user/password details and connect. Then go to the Network TCP/IP section and change t...

Re: Is there a way to setup a camera to record on microSD or PC without being connected to internet?

After setting it up on web user interface (cam ip/web browser) and installing ASP, then would ASP work for recording offline? What about blue iris? Could that record while offline? I have BI too I just haven't set it up. It depends on what is meant by "offline". If the camera is connected...
