Re: IP3M-941 -- cannot access from outside local network unless camera is connected via ethernet
Not sure I understand. The camera config will not allow the local IP address for WiFi and ethernet to be the same, so of course they are different. The HTTP port numbers, however, are (and must be) the same for wifi and ethernet. And the ethernet and wifi IP addresses are both port forwarded in my r...

IP3M-941 -- cannot access from outside local network unless camera is connected via ethernet
Title pretty much sums it up. I can connect to the camera from outside my local network only if the camera is connected to the router via ethernet cable. If I connect the camera to my local network wirelessly, I can see it when in my local network (by entering its local IP address in my browser) but...

Re: Beta Test Firmware for IP2M-841 ONLY ( New Email Fix)
After installing the test firmware, I no longer have live view in Internet Explorer in Windows 10. When trying to access live view, I encounter a message to download and install the plugin. However, clicking the link to do so results in a 404 page not found error. When I try to access live view in C...

Re: Can't view IP2M-841 outside local network
If camera P2P is offline it wont connect from WAN, You better use IP domain/DDNS method to access the camera. Make both camera IP address static and change the HTTP and TCP port numbers dont use same port number for both cams. Melvin: P2P was online and I did all of the things you mentioned (althou...

Re: Can't view IP2M-841 outside local network
As it turns out, it was a problem with the port number. Strange that I could access the camera outside the local network as long as the camera was connected to my network the a wire rather than wirelessly inasmuch as the HTTP port numbers are (and must be) the same for wired and wireless (although t...

Re: IP setup vs P2P
Wonder of wonders -- as a last resort before returning the camera, I decided to upgrade the firmware even though the latest available version is what was on the camera when I received it. But that did the trick. Apparently there was an issue with the factory loaded firmware.

Re: IP setup vs P2P
I am having the same issue with IP my second IP2M-841. The camera refuses to open the designated ports, so I'm limited to P2P, which is not acceptable.

Can't view IP2M-841 outside local network
I have two IP2M-841 cameras. The second one (just purchased) can be viewed only on the local network. When I try to access it on WAN, it will not connect. The two cams are configured exactly the same with the exception of their local IP addresses and HTTP port numbers (the other port numbers are unc...
