Re: IP2M-841B-V3
Hello welcome to the Forum Not sure I understand. First, Have you been able to log into both of them on your local network over WebUI? Second when you try using the app are you sure that you clicked on both of the cameras to access them both. In the top right Icon it will show a Green dot on the one...

Re: Question about IP8M-TD2685EW-AI Face Detection Event API
While i have that camera, I hate to say that is not one of the features for the camera model. You will need to buy a higher grade camera that has that feature built in. If you look at the picture below from one of my Dahua cameras. You can see where it is marked. This area is where I can pick what I...

Re: Camera no longer moves up or down
Amcrest offers many different IP cameras from Wired to Wifi. Every camera type is able to be disabled in 1 way or another. Jammers are something that has been going around for years. They have 20ish wireless cameras and over 70 POE plus other normal IP cameras so they have many different types. Wifi...

Re: IP2M-148 Privacy Mode
Well you might want to talk with Amcrest. My guess is if you have a FW that has a date newer then the Stable one that is online. Then there was something reported wrong with the One you have installed right now and the way to correct it would be to add the Update to Downgrade.. Amcrest has a Shippin...

Re: IP2M-148 Privacy Mode
Ok Thank you. Just an idea of what might have been going on. Wasn't really thinking that your connection is lost, it goes with the way things might be built within the Circuit. So if you have already done a Reset as you said was only way to get it to come back. If you have tested it again and still ...

Re: IP2M-148 Privacy Mode
Hello, Welcome to the Forum. To be honest it is a feature I don't use. However logging into the camera with the AVP and using the little Mask didn't seem to make it work. Logging into Edge in Edge mode I am able to use the feature. However in my case at first didn't look like the button did anything...

Re: Camera no longer moves up or down
Well kind of hard to say really.. There are so many things that come into play when trying to find a good replacement. One the camera I would buy has a different mounting type and might not be suitable for your current location. The one I would replace it with while it cost little over double what o...

Re: Camera no longer moves up or down
Yeah in that case it is a PT Smart Home camera and while it should still be under warranty I am not sure how it would work from Strom damage. If it wasn't covered by warranty for getting an RMA and replacement. It would fall under the same line of Consumable as the price was under 100 and for me any...

Re: Camera no longer moves up or down
So the up and down stepper motor is in the head of the camera if it is a Full PTZ like a 850, 853, 858 and so on. My guess is that either the motor is bad or the Stepper driver circuit is bad. Easiest fix would be a motor however it is hard to know without looking at it. Are you in the USA? I would ...

Re: Cameras used to show up on NVR
Hello and Welcome to the forum.. Sorry to hear about the issues. I am not sure what cameras you are working with, I know you said they were Amcrest just don't know of they are High voltage or low voltage types. Problem is what you are talking about seems like it could be one of many things. However ...
