Re: People are invisible at night

Hello welcome to the Forum. The camera is an early edition of 8mp and with that the Technology was new. That camera works best with lots of outdoor light or in an area with shorter FOV. Ensure that your camera's IR illumination is properly configured and positioned to evenly illuminate the scene wit...

Re: Amcrest View Pro- Exceeded Maximum Connections ??

So I am not sure, Is the issue a connection on the NVR or the cameras? Also most of my NVRs are setup for 128 connections. I used to play with the numbers, However for the NVRs I no longer do because of connections issues that can happen with the camera and recorder and not really what I call a true...

Re: Can't connect to FileLu FTP CCTV backup server.

Hello and Welcome to the forum I would double check a couple of things. Being able to log into the FTP don't answer a question to having Read/Write permissions on your server. next thing to check is to make sure that your using the right FTP type setup for your FTP server? Some are SFTP and others a...

Re: AMC POE won't connect to Blue Iris.

Also thought I would mention that if you are trying to access the cameras on the Guest network part of your router or extender, that part most always is on a different range then to your normal network as a way to let others on your network to access internet but have no access to your normal local ...

Re: AMC POE won't connect to Blue Iris.

You might need to get help from ATT support or ask on the Forums there if there is no access to the extender and or no way to tell the extender that you want your main router to be setup as the DHCP server.. Networking devices are not always the same and seeing your system is based on a ATT networki...

Re: AMC POE won't connect to Blue Iris.

So from what it sounds like you have your cameras behind a device that is handing out the 192.168.6.xx range of IPs where your main network is passing out the 192.168.1.xx and will need to have the Bi machine on the same network range as the cameras. Problem is if you happen to make a connection to ...

Re: AMC POE won't connect to Blue Iris.

My guess is the ip isn't on your local BI range so not able to connect. Like on one of my routers that give out different ip. I can access over app using p2p but ip is different to my local network range so no webui access or blue iris access. Make sure your extender isn't working as DHCP server and...

Re: ASP vs Orion

In theory it is an updated Alternative that has options for features that are on cameras that are not part of ASP. There is MQTT within the Server part for devices or software that might use that type of communication. Along with many other things as well. Only issue is that at some point it will be...

Re: Amcrest View Pro- Exceeded Maximum Connections ??

Interesting, I do have another camera on that IP, I don't have that camera at the Moment, It was one I have been looking at off and on for past couple of years.. I do know that there have been others around this and maybe other forums that say the 10.0.0.xx range is bad. Oddly I have had my main Rou...

Re: Amcrest View Pro- Exceeded Maximum Connections ??

Do you happen to remember the IP you had the camera on and what camera are you working with? I would love to maybe see if I have the same camera and if I can get the same result. Not that I have every camera offered by Amcrest but if I happen to have one or even maybe get one I would love to test th...
