For me... IIRC I had to use the phone app and set them up initially to get them added to the wifi and change the password. Then once I had the wifi, I was able to use web gui to assign itself an IP (outside my DHCP assigning range...) and changed the preference from wifi to ethernet. Might have had ...

Also - swap the sensitivity/threshold settings. My porch is set to 70/8 respectively. I wanted to get someone walking, but didn't need the neighbor's cat setting it off. Try that out.

It has to be enabled for MD to work. Can we get some more information?

HA! I've wondered that too. That doesn't make much sense of a "snapshot". They should call it "ubber delay'd image". Trying to find that bird in zone 1 vs zone 4 or was it zone 2? Or was it a rabbit? Fly? AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!

I had the EXACT same issue... Ended up opening a ticket, they had me do a hard reset - still didn't resolve. So instructed me to RMA and I'm waiting for instructions on next steps. Pisses me off that there wasn't a fix, and they just wanted to swap hardware - if it fixes it. Ok. But... Using an NVR4...

Login to NVR via web GUI > System > AUTO MAINTAIN > "Manual Reboot"

It should be there, I have an NV4108-HS (unsure what the difference is, however). HTHs!
