Hi guys, the new update is currently in development and will be released as soon as possible. Right now they are attempting to fix up those bugs mentioned and polish the application out for testing.

Hi James, the router/switch must connect to the ethernet LAN port on the back of the NVR. If you do not have any PoE cameras that you would like to plug into the system then you leave ports 1-8 blank.
