Here are pictures taken with day light but some areas under shade.

HX2 does well when there is sunlight. But the grass and the shrub in the shade closer to the house are sharper with HX1. Both have the default config for exposure, sharpness etc

Also setting the higher res camera to a lower res is not a solution for any problem. If I have to buy H2X and run it at 720p or 960p, I might have as well bought the HX1. Yes the HX2 is setup to highest possible image quality. They are both on wifi. I have tried wired also. H264H or H264B or H264 didnt make any difference.

I have attached the images from H1X and H2X taken at night using bright LED lighting.

H1X image is far superior in clarity. See how sharp the tall plant is and how sharp the leaves of the shrubs are. HX2 image has a haze everywhere. Of course a picture is worth a 1000 words.
